What Home Price Ranges Are Selling in Charleston SC

Recently, one of my clients asked what are the price ranges that homes are selling in Charleston, Stono Ferry and Hollywood, South Carolina area.  The results of the research were interesting.  In the above graph, out of all West Ashley Charleston homes that sold since Jan 2008, 94% (653 of 695) were priced below $400,000.  The buyers are definitely picking up lower priced homes and passing by the more expensive homes.  Homes for sale in Stono Ferry are significantly impacted these numbers since the majority of the homes for sale in Stono Ferry are priced above $500,000.
